Pregnancy and childbirth is one of the biggest events of our lives both physically and emotionally. The journey into parenthood is complex to navigate, and the support systems upon which we may have relied so heavily in the past, might now not be available or appropriate.

For many new (and often experienced) parents a sense of anxiety, guilt or isolation even when surrounded by friends and family can be very distressing and overwhelming. For partners, a sense of being inadequately skilled or pushed aside can frequently arise and couples can find that they lack the communication and negotiating skills to sustain a healthy and supportive relationship with each other.

Personal one-one psychotherapy is a confidential and nurturing space for you (and your partner) to explore the many emotions both good and bad that you may be experiencing both individually, or as a couple.
